Job Opportunity: Software Development Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Project Manager to lead our development projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, execution, quality assurance, delivery, and maintenance of software platforms/projects for clients and enterprise. This involves managing cross-functional teams, developing project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.

A successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They will also have outstanding leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving project goals.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should have experience with agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, as well as experience with JIRA or other similar agile development tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote-first context.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing discovery, planning, execution, quality assurance, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of concurrent software platforms/projects for clients and enterprise
• Maintaining clear project plans and timelines according to guidance from patients, clients, and Dr. Armstrong
• Managing and monitoring front-end and back-end software development using modern agile methodology
• Assisting and supporting software developers by removing obstacles, making workflow improvements, and offering timely feedback on submitted features
• Advocating, documenting, and enforcing best engineering practices, design, and implementation principles, coding standards; driving high quality in all phases of software development
• Working with different software including Jira, Airtable
• Creating and executing test plans, writing tickets, and test cases, and preparing bug reports using JIRA and other bug reporting tools
• Testing application features and providing feedback on usability
• Finding, isolating, and documenting defects
• Troubleshooting software bugs and client-reported software problems by handling, resolving, and documenting submitted issues
• Assisting with the interview process when hiring new developers and designers
• Monitoring and managing UI/UX as part of an integrated software development process/workflow
