Cloud Engineer Job Description

This position involves driving cloud transformation efforts and delivering robust, scalable, and secure Azure-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implementAzure Landing ZonesusingHub & Spoke architecture
  • Deploy and manage core Azure services, including:
    • Service Fabric(within private networks)
    • Lead Azure services implementation and migration projects (IaaSandPaaS)
  • Configure and manage:
    • Set up and manageAzure Backup,disk encryption, andKey Vault
  • Design and maintain secure and efficient networking:
    • ExpressRoute,VPNsfor hybrid connectivity
  • Develop and implementDisaster RecoveryandRepatriation strategies
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as anAzure Cloud Engineer or Architect
  • Deep understanding ofAzure infrastructure, security, and networking
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-gradecloud solution design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge ofAzure monitoring, compliance, and automation tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on deadline

This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with deep technical expertise in Azure services, cloud infrastructure design, and implementation.

Job Specifications

This is a fully remote role, but requires full availability during Qatar Standard Time working hours (11:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pakistan Time).

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving cloud transformation efforts and delivering robust, scalable, and secure Azure-based solutions.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones using Hub & Spoke architecture, deploying and managing core Azure services, configuring and managing Azure Backup, disk encryption, and Key Vault, and developing and implementing Disaster Recovery and Repatriation strategies.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on deadline, and a strong knowledge of Azure monitoring, compliance, and automation tools.
