The role of AWS Senior Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SME and Tech Lead requires expertise in designing, building and managing foundational infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services platform. This involves leveraging knowledge of AWS architecture, pre-sales technical proposal development, service delivery across various domains and ensuring alignment with AWS standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities include leading a team of skilled professionals to ensure reliability, scalability and security of cloud-based infrastructures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support technological growth and innovation.

During project delivery, the candidate will oversee technical teams to drive successful project execution and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation/Terraform for automation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and AWS Certified Security/Networking Specialty

In terms of experience, 15+ years of relevant experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design and technical leadership are required. Strong understanding of on-premises data centers, cloud architecture principles and infrastructure best practices is also essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud-based solutions on AWS
  2. Create technical proposals, architecture diagrams and high/low-level designs
  3. Ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework, security and compliance standards
  4. Optimize AWS solutions for cost efficiency, scalability and performance
