We are seeking a seasoned Gas Metering Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics and 9+ years of experience in Oil & Gas or Public Sector. This role involves managing operation and maintenance of Customer Meter Stations (CMS), overseeing natural gas measuring equipment for safety, reliability, and efficiency, and coordinating installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of gas metering equipment across the distribution network.

Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight: Manage operation and maintenance of CMS to ensure safe and reliable service delivery.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee natural gas measuring equipment at Industrial Gas meter stations to guarantee adherence to pressure standards based on demand-supply analysis.
  • Task Coordination: Coordinate installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of gas metering equipment across the distribution network to optimize manpower and complete tasks on time.
  • Scheduling Optimization: Strategically plan and schedule tasks to optimize manpower and complete gas measurement activities efficiently.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analyses and coordinate with relevant departments for prompt resolution.
  • CMS Assembly: Ensure availability of necessary Gas metering equipment for CMS assembly modifications and replacements.
  • Meter Calibration: Oversee effective calibration/Joint Meter Check of Sales Meter Stations.
  • Emergency Response: Plan emergency and contingency procedures for addressing emergency complaints on a 24/7 basis.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop, implement, and manage key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each responsibility area and ensure achievement of team KPIs by following the overall plan.

In this role, you will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets for Operations, Maintenance, Revenue, and Capital expenditure within the department and conducting technical evaluations of bids through the procurement department. Upholding safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment is also crucial for success in this position.
