Job Title: Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software projects.

  • Create project work plans in collaboration with product managers.
  • Update project work plans on a daily basis.
  • Provide input to project plans in terms of time estimates required for QA/QC related activities.

Maintenance and updating of standard test cases is also a key responsibility of this role.

Quality assurance professionals verify standard test cases applied by development teams and acquire understanding of domain knowledge/business logic.

Functional test cases are prepared in coordination with product managers/project managers.

Bugs and enhancement-related suggestions are reported and verified to make them ready for delivery.

Bug reports are maintained using test director and released on VSS server.

Projects and patches are verified as received or against bugs after evaluating them on standard as well as functional test cases.

Next iteration dates from development teams are acquired.

Issues/operational problems reported by clients/operations/stakeholders are verified.

Test deployment packages are executed for fresh installation as well as upgrades.

Training is provided to operations on patch/new releases.

Automated test scripts are executed.

Project reports specifying statistical data of bugs are prepared.
