Interior Design Consultant KDW

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Interior Design Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert design guidance and innovative solutions tailored to clients' needs in kitchen, door, and wardrobe projects.


The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp/IMOS) and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will work closely with customers from the initial design phase through to the installation process, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.


Main Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers throughout each project stage, from initial site measurement to final installation, to ensure their needs are met.
  2. Design Creation: Create customized 3D designs as per customer profiling and presentations to effectively convey design concepts to clients.
  3. Project Coordination: Coordinate site verification and oversee installation processes to ensure quality and design accuracy.
  4. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  5. Site Visits: Visit the customer's site at three stages: before designing their proposal, during installation, and after installation.
  6. Sales Targets: Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain an updated KDW opportunity matrix.
  7. Civil Work Coordination: Coordinate with architects and contractors involved in client's pending civil work, if any.
  8. Order Processing: Process client quotations and orders according to approved terms and conditions.
  9. Technical Support: Follow up with the technical team for quotations, orders, and timely revisions.
  10. Display Management: Manage and maintain the display in proper condition.
  11. Sales Generation: Conduct visits for new leads/business development and regularly visit the field to generate sales.
  12. Progress Reporting: Send emailed progress reports to clients and architects every 15 days, from project start to completion.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Product Design, or a related field.
  2. Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in design consulting, specifically in kitchens, doors, and wardrobes.
  3. Design Skills: Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp/IMOS).
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-oriented approach.
  5. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
  6. Market Understanding: Attention to detail and a good understanding of market trends in interior design and furniture.
