We are seeking a talented Shift Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving manufacturing operations to achieve agreed plans on volume, cost, safety, quality, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Main Responsibilities:

  • To plan and execute making and packing operations on the floor to achieve agreed shift targets in volume, quality, output reliability, cost, and safety.
  • To receive chemical and packaging materials in a timely manner.
  • To organize and control labor (operators, technicians, and contract workers) for operations in terms of numbers and skills.
  • To monitor material consumption and yield, with a focus on reducing waste levels.
  • To minimize material variance by ensuring optimal usage of chemicals and packaging and maintaining accurate records.
  • To oversee weekly and monthly stock counts and general Fourth Shift transactions.
  • To ensure that workers wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • To drive autonomous maintenance activities on the shop floor.
  • To support the implementation of best practices such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and all audit recommendations.
  • To identify skill gaps and organize training for workers.
  • To continually improve operations by identifying areas for process development.

Requirements:

Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop internal and external networks.
  • Expertise in leading large teams and managing shop floor safety, health, and environment.

Experience and Qualification:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Sciences is required.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience on the production floor, preferably in an FMCG company.
  • Familiarity with supply chain operations, especially in planning and SAP.
