Job Title: Research Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Research Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall coordination of research projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project deliverables. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, with a strong background in research methodology and a proven track record of managing field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement research project plans, including coordinating with investigators and collaborators.
  • Supervise field teams and ensure effective data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with data managers to produce monthly project reports and study results.
  • Present findings at conferences and disseminate research outcomes through publications.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and budgets.
  • Provide mentorship and training to research staff to enhance knowledge exchange and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy and Management, Sociology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in research and health systems management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Experience in conducting qualitative exploratory research and managing field teams.
  • Computer skills in MS Word, spreadsheets, and statistical software.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English.
