Senior Hardware Development Specialist

As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you will lead and support the development of complex multilayer PCB designs for embedded systems and industrial-grade hardware solutions. This role requires strong expertise in PCB design, system-level integration, and design optimization with a deep grasp of industry standards and best practices.

The ideal candidate should bring extensive experience in multilayer board design, including impedance control and high-speed routing. A deep understanding of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal processing is also required. Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and mitigation techniques, as well as familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and SoCs, are necessary for success in this role.

This position involves driving system-level hardware architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, and testing). Perform advanced signal integrity, thermal, and power integrity analysis to ensure robust performance. Lead prototyping, bring-up, and debugging of hardware systems in lab environments. Liaise with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors to ensure DFM and DFT compliance.

• Lead the design and development of high-speed, multilayer PCB layouts for embedded, analog, and digital systems.
• Oversee schematic creation, layout reviews, and BOM generation using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar platforms.
• Drive system-level hardware architecture in collaboration with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, and testing).
• Perform advanced signal integrity, thermal, and power integrity analysis to ensure robust performance.
• Lead prototyping, bring-up, and debugging of hardware systems in lab environments.
• Liaise with PCB fabricators and assembly vendors to ensure DFM and DFT compliance.
• Manage hardware documentation, version control, and project timelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Extensive experience in multilayer board design, including impedance control and high-speed routing.
• Deep understanding of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal processing.
• Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and SoCs.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, Ethernet).
• Skilled in using lab instruments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc.).
• Strong project management, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in automotive, industrial automation, or IoT hardware development.
• Background in firmware/hardware co-design and system-level debugging.
• Exposure to international product certification processes (e.g., CE, FCC, ISO standards).
