Job Title: Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to maintain and manage computer networks and systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls.
  2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  3. Implement appropriate security measures to ensure network security.
  4. Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and file sharing.
  5. Install and maintain server operating systems.
  6. Troubleshoot server hardware and software issues.
  7. Maintain backups of critical data.
  8. Collaborate with team members to plan for future network growth.

The ideal candidate will have experience with various operating systems, network protocols, and hardware components. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively under pressure.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Infrastructure Support Specialist.
  • Experience with various operating systems including Windows Server, Linux/Unix.
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
  • Strong understanding of network security principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
