Job Opportunity: Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented technical support specialist to provide top-notch assistance to our colleagues across various offices.

  • Offer comprehensive support to colleagues, addressing their day-to-day IT needs with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line support for all IT systems and services used by the organization.
  • Log and track incidents via a dedicated platform, adhering to the incident management process.
  • Work on escalated incidents from the IT Service Desk, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support remote users via a centralized communication channel.
  • Communicate critical issues to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Perform daily checks on IT infrastructure and systems, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, utilizing your analytical skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Install new hardware, software, and printers, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Implement and assist with the rollout of new applications and operating systems, providing training and support as needed.
  • Prepare new laptops and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications, guaranteeing optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for asset management, tagging, and tracking.
  • Offer expert advice to colleagues on technology-related matters, promoting a culture of innovation and best practices.
  • Meet room support for tele/video conference solutions, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Assess and minimize the impact of changes on production services, ensuring business continuity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Information Security team to ensure IT security policies and best practices are up-to-date and effective.
  • Enforce IT policies and procedures, acting as a custodian of IT to educate users on best practices and promote a culture of compliance.
