
Sales Territory Leader

Job Summary
The ideal candidate for this role is a driven and results-oriented professional who can effectively lead assigned territories by handling distributors and order bookers to achieve assigned targets and implement sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Determine monthly unit-wise and value-wise targets for assigned territories, providing clear direction and focus to drive business growth.
Set daily targets for order bookers based on their areas to ensure effective coverage at all outlets, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Prepare and share sales reports for assigned territories and categories to analyze target and KPIs achievement, enabling data-driven decision making.
Manage order bookers and drive them towards target achievement by monitoring their performance daily, ensuring they have complete knowledge of company products and resources required for the job, promoting continuous learning and improvement.
Conduct market visits to ensure effective coverage and productivity at all outlets in the defined universe, as well as to understand market dynamics and customer actions, staying ahead of industry trends.
Evaluate trade marketing activities at all assigned outlets according to Trade Marketing plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
Plan effective sales efforts and design Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) by understanding assigned territories and Regionally Targeted Merchandising (RTM), leveraging market insights to drive business success.
Develop relationships with key/assigned distributors by establishing mutually beneficial objectives to optimize value and achieve strategic plans, building strong partnerships that drive growth.
Effectively manage budgets, forecast sales according to assigned territory/category, and make decisions that maximize returns, minimize costs, and lead to effective revenue management, driving business results through informed decision making.
