Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data architectures on the cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building data pipelines with PySpark and AWS Glue, and experience leading engineering teams to deliver high-performance data solutions.

About the Role
  • Architect & Build event-driven data flow systems to support large-scale data extraction, transformation and reporting.
  • Develop & Optimize data processing pipelines using PySpark on AWS Glue to streamline big data workflows.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, understand business needs and translate them into actionable technical designs.
  • Implement Best Practices for data governance, monitoring, testing and performance tuning.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies to continuously improve architecture and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3, RDS, Athena etc.).
  • Proficiency in PySpark, Python and SQL for large-scale data processing.
  • Proven experience designing event-driven data architectures.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
