Job Title: Senior Cost Manager

Establish a strong reputation as a detail-oriented cost management professional.

  • Provide preliminary cost advice and elemental cost planning to support informed project decisions.
  • Develop procurement strategies and advise on best practices to ensure optimal project outcomes.
  • Conduct detailed cost planning and control throughout all project stages, maintaining accurate records and facilitating timely progress updates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage tender documentation, ensuring comprehensive and clear content that meets the needs of stakeholders.
  • Administer contracts and handle cost control during construction phases, accurately reconciling project costs and final account settlements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective cost management strategies and processes, driving operational efficiency and excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional certification (RICS or equivalent) highly valued.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field, with a strong focus on cost management and contract administration.
  • Proven expertise in estimation software packages such as CostX, Bluebeam, and PlanSwift.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
