
Sales and Technical Services Professional

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Technical Services Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, providing technical services to all segments of paints, and developing expertise in paint application.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve agreed sales targets in the assigned areas.
- Provide technical services to all segments of paints.
- Develop expertise in paint application.
- Sales:
- Achievement of agreed sales targets.
- Technical Services:
- Coordinate with principal supplier regarding technical assistance and information, especially related to the decorative segment.
- Assist DGM in equipment selection and paint manufacturing process for local paint plant.
- Solving daily routine problems of line in consultation with RSM.
- Reporting the abnormal problem immediately to RSM / NSM as & when required.
- Complaint handling in Heavy duty, industrial and floor coatings and decorative paints.
- Ensure proper paint/coatings application procedure is being implemented on large Heavy Duty, Industrial, Floor Coating Projects.
- Assist Product Manager / Regional Sales Manager in development of decorative, industrial & floor coatings products.
- Assist Product Manager / Regional Sales Manager in product testing & trials of decorative, industrial & floor coatings products.
- Business Development:
- Assist RSM in new customer development and make sales & keep update regarding competitor's activities.
- Customer Relations:
- Establish customer relationship and pay regular visits to prospective customers.
- Respond to customers against all enquiries.
- Gather information about tender documents and participation for tender business.
- Generate orders from customers & prepare work orders and get the product delivered on time.
- Ensure delivery of sales tax invoices to the customer on time.
- Attend customer complaints as advised by RSM.
- Debtors Management:
- Make collections as per the terms of invoices.
- Keep record of debtors along with age analysis and nature of outstanding (sales invoices, withholding tax, earnest money, security deposit etc.).
- Regular follow up and maintain debtors within approved credit limit.
- Settlement of outstanding issues and settle as per advice of RSM.
- Reporting / Record Keeping:
- Report to management about the activities of competition in the region.
- Prepare position of outstanding and MRO & deliver that report to RSM.
- Monitor the stock level of OEM customers and give update to RSM.
- Other:
- Any assignment by higher management.
- Report to management about the activities of competitors in the region.
- Ensure application of Industrial, floor, decorative coatings as per procedure.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Graduate in chemistry and/or business administration.
- Pleasant personality and good communication skills.
- 02 years experience in Heavy Duty, Industrial, Marine & Floor coatings sales.
- Willing to travel and capable of expressing himself with ability to develop business.
- Valid driving license.
