Job Summary
We are seeking a talented HR professional to join our team as an HR Generalist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support across various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HR practices, with experience across key functions like recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, coupled with empathy, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the senior HR team to implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide support across core HR functions, including technical recruitment (job postings, sourcing candidates, resume screening, interview coordination, organizing recruitment drives), employee onboarding (facilitating smooth onboarding processes and conducting new hire orientations), employee relations (building positive relationships and addressing employee concerns), and HR administration (maintaining accurate employee records and managing daily HR operations).
- Assist in organizing and representing the company at career fairs to attract top talent.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including planning and execution of activities.
- Address employee inquiries and help resolve basic HR-related concerns.
- Contribute to HR reporting and data analysis to support decision-making.
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about HR best practices and recommend or assist in implementing improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an HR role, with exposure to various HR functions.
- The ability to communicate effectively in a team setting.
- The ability to handle situations with people-handling, and candidate management.
- Ability to understand business needs, and empathy for the need for speed.
- Ability to think about the big picture and associate existing work with the longer-term company and personal goals.
- Confident and fast learner – someone who is not afraid to figure it out.
- Strong skills in Spreadsheets, Google Sheets/MS Excel is a plus.
