  • Building Scalable Infrastructure: Developing resilient systems to support production services.
  • Enhancing Observability: Growing and improving our platform's observability capabilities.
  • Driving CI/CD Practices: Implementing best practices for continuous integration and delivery, and building deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborating with Engineers: Working closely with our engineering team to break apart existing infrastructure into decoupled services using ECS Fargate and other AWS services.
  • Managing Our AWS Infrastructure: Ensuring best practices and acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Implementing Security Controls: Working with stakeholders to secure our platform.
  • Advocating for Agile Methodologies: Promoting Lean and Agile Software Development practices.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Devops with a pragmatic approach that balances technical skills and business needs.
  • Cloud Expertise: Proficient in cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and networking protocols.
  • Process-Oriented: Strong documentation skills and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Collaborative: A team-focused engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Passionate: Enthusiastic about cloud technology, software development methodologies, and building efficient platforms.
