We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new vendors and suppliers, primarily in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new suppliers and vendors for construction materials and services by independently visiting local and regional markets.

  • Assess vendor capabilities, business credibility, and supply capacity to ensure they meet our quality benchmarks and project specifications.

  • Continuously expand and diversify our vendor base to provide us with competitive pricing and favorable terms.

Rate Collection & Validation:

Obtain and validate comparative market quotations for construction-related items and services to ensure pricing aligns with quality benchmarks and project specifications.

Maintain updated rate lists and procurement benchmarks to inform our sourcing decisions.

Negotiate with business owners, suppliers, and manufacturers to establish long-term procurement relationships and secure best prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions directly from source vendors.

Coordinate sample evaluation and technical review with relevant project teams to ensure that all necessary information is considered.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare reports on market visits, vendor meetings, rate updates, and sourcing activities to keep stakeholders informed.

Document all interactions, negotiations, and key vendor information to maintain an up-to-date database of qualified suppliers.

Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance our procurement process.
