Leading Senior Full Stack Developer for Legacy System Transition

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Full-Stack Developer to support and transition our current ASP.Net WebForms application to a modern stack, preferably .Net Core with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular or Vue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the current ASP.Net WebForms application.
  • Plan and execute the transition of the application to .Net Core
  • Transition of front-end features using modern frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and integrations.
  • Create and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for high-performance applications
  • Create and maintain documentation as necessary.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the application.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Primary Skills:

  • Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming, ASP.Net WebForms and .Net Core.
  • Strong knowledge of development with SQL Server
  • Experience with front-end technologies (React, Vue, or similar).
  • Familiarity with GitHub CoPilot and SonarQube
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Twilio and SignalR.
  • Experience with SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and support legacy systems while transitioning to modern technologies.
