Financial Insights Specialist – Strategic Partnerships

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Insights Specialist to join our team, specializing in business partnering for Medical, Marcom, and other enabling departments. This role is crucial in providing financial insights, strategic guidance, and operational support to ensure effective decision-making and improved financial performance across these departments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: The Financial Insights Specialist will work closely with the Medical, Marcom, and other enabling departments to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive informed decision-making. The role will be responsible for preparing monthly management reports, variance analysis, and forecasts. Additionally, this role will contribute to the development of advanced analytical reports and dashboards for the Medical, Admin, and Marcom departments, focusing on achieving performance targets and delivering comprehensive financial insights.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: In collaboration with department heads, the Financial Insights Specialist will help develop annual budgets and forecasts that align with strategic objectives. He/she will closely monitor budget performance, identify areas of concern, and recommend corrective actions to meet financial targets.
  • Business Partnering and Strategic Support: As a trusted advisor to the enabling departments, the Financial Insights Specialist will provide financial guidance on business initiatives, investments, and cost management strategies. This role will also participate in cross-functional teams to support new projects, product launches, and business expansion plans through financial analysis and business case development.
  • Financial Governance and Compliance: The Financial Insights Specialist will ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in collaboration with internal audit and compliance teams. He/she will conduct financial reviews and audits as necessary to maintain financial integrity and transparency.
  • Relationship Management: The Financial Insights Specialist will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across enabling departments to better understand their financial needs and provide proactive support. This position will also coordinate with external partners, such as auditors and consultants, to ensure successful execution of financial projects and initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong proficiency in advanced Excel, including the ability to create complex reports, data models, and dashboards.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business finance role.
  • Qualified professional in accountancy (e.g., ACCA, CMA or MBA Finance) with a strong understanding of financial management.
  • ACCA or MBA with 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience or CMA with 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ability to provide actionable insights and support decision-making across multiple departments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
