Software Engineer – AI/ML Developer Job Description

Are you a skilled software developer with experience in building intelligent, production-ready solutions? Do you have a strong understanding of NLP tasks and audio-based applications? We are seeking a versatile and driven AI/ML Developer to join our team as a Software Engineer – AI/ML Developer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement prompt engineering strategies to develop intelligent product features such as chatbots, Q&A systems, and contextual search tools.
  • Develop AI components for speech processing including speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and audio classification using services like Whisper, Google Speech APIs, or Azure Speech.
  • Implement sentiment analysis, intent recognition, and emotion detection using open-source libraries or third-party services.
  • Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines integrating LLMs with vector stores for dynamic knowledge grounding.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI models into applications via REST APIs and microservices.
  • Develop clean, efficient, and testable Python code, and participate in peer reviews, CI/CD workflows, and MLOps pipelines.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with Python, including at least 1–2 years of hands-on work in AI/ML applications.
  • Practical experience integrating LLMs via APIs, with working knowledge of prompt tuning and embedding-based customization.
  • Familiarity with fine-tuning techniques using different industry standard tools.
  • Strong understanding of NLP tasks and audio-based applications.
  • Knowledge of vector databases and RAG architectures.
  • Experience with REST APIs, FastAPI/Flask, and microservice-based deployment.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and containerization tools.
  • Experience working with GPU-enabled environments and cloud-based GPU services for training, fine-tuning, and running AI models efficiently.
