Key Role: Deputy Manager Analytics

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deputy Manager Analytics to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong technical expertise, operational ownership, and cross-functional coordination with business and IT stakeholders.

This position is responsible for the operational management and delivery of Business Warehouse Reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data modeling, scripting, and visualization techniques, as well as experience working with Operational support and ticket resolution.

Job Purpose:

The role demands strong technical expertise in Qlik Sense, SQL scripting, operational ownership, and cross-functional coordination with business and IT stakeholders. The Deputy Manager Analytics will be responsible for ensuring platform availability, managing issue resolution, implementing new reporting requirements, and designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and reports based on business requirements.

  • Ensure System Availability including high availability, Disaster Recovery and performance Management of BW Platform.
  • Monitor scheduled data loads, resolve load failures, and manage data refresh cycles.
  • Handle day-to-day operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to reporting services.
  • Take ownership of issue resolution, coordinating with IT teams and vendors as needed.
  • Work with IT infrastructure, SAP Basis teams to manage server capacity, upgrades, and patches.
Responsibilities:

The Deputy Manager Analytics will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and reports based on business requirements.
  • Building and optimizing data models, integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.
  • Translating complex data into clear, actionable visualizations and insights aligned with user needs.
  • Developing new dashboards and reporting solutions in coordination with business teams.
  • Ensuring adherence to data governance, quality, and visualization best practices.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics or BI operations OR at least 3 years in Enterprise application operations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and hands-on experience in analytics operations.
  • Experience working with Operational support and ticket resolution.
  • Solid grasp of data modeling, scripting, and visualization techniques.
