DevOps Specialist

The DevOps Specialist plays a pivotal role at the intersection of software development and IT operations, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and continuous integration of software solutions.

This role is responsible for streamlining manual tasks for software delivery to enhance efficiency and productivity. It involves implementing Continuous Integration/Deployment pipelines to improve deployment speed and reduce errors. The Specialist will also develop and manage infrastructure using code, such as Terraform, to ensure consistency and reproducibility.

  • Automation of Processes: Automate manual tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment: Implement CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reduce errors.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Develop and manage infrastructure using code, such as Terraform, to ensure consistency and reproducibility.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor infrastructure and applications to guarantee performance and identify potential issues.

This role requires close collaboration with development and operations teams to streamline processes and ensure smooth operational workflows. The Specialist must also troubleshoot issues quickly within the software environment to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.

Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps role with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, or similar languages.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
