Job Description

Our team is looking for a skilled Senior Executive Technical Procurement professional to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective procurement of goods and services while ensuring the implementation and execution of procurement policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a master's degree in business administration, supply chain. A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience is required, preferably with in-depth knowledge of cell sites for power projects, cooling systems, HVAC, UPS, PDF, rectifiers, data centers, and related systems.

  • Responsible for the procurement of technical domains and ensure that bidding process is followed as per the procurement policy.
  • RFQ/RFP must be reviewed by the relevant departments.
  • Frequent meetings with the concerned department for the improvement of internal communication and planning of activities proactively.
  • Arrange quotes, evaluate and prepare comparative statements for final approval.
  • Ensure coordination with concern departments for purchase request generation in line with proper specification for the purchase of goods.
Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate vendors/suppliers for maximum participation in tender floats to get competitive prices and quality goods in line with procurement policy.
  • Support negotiation teams for the purchases of goods/services as per procurement policy.
  • Explore new vendors and sign frame supply agreements for recurring nature items/services.
  • Vendor evaluation: periodic supplier evaluation in liaison with respective requesting departments for retention of quality suppliers and updating supplier databases.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or master's degree in business administration, supply chain.
    • Accredited procurement and supply chain certifications preferred.
  • Work Experience:
    • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience.
    • Preference given to candidates with in-depth knowledge of cell sites for power projects, cooling systems, HVAC, UPS, PDF, rectifiers, data centers, and related systems.
  • Skills – Generic:
    • Knowledge of ERP platform and preferably Oracle Sourcing Module.
    • Knowledge of telecom technologies, equipment, and services.
    • Strategic sourcing.
    • Contract management.
    • Presentation preparation and scenario building.
  • Skills – Job Specific:
    • High standard integrity and moral values.
    • Strong project management skills (setting/managing timelines, prioritization, communication).
    • Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
    • A can-do attitude/willingness to step up and help.
    • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
    • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
