Position: Senior Executive Technical Procurement

Reporting to: Manager Procurement (Technical)

Job Type: Permanent

Job Purpose:

  • Effective procurement of goods and services while ensuring the implementation and execution of procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the procurement of technical domains, ensuring that bidding processes are followed according to the procurement policy.
  • Review RFQ/RFP with relevant departments.
  • Prioritize candidates with in-depth knowledge of cell sites for power projects, cooling systems, HVAC, UPS, PDF, rectifiers, data centers, and related systems.
  • Frequent meetings with concerned departments for improved internal communication and proactive planning of activities.
  • Evaluate quotes, prepare comparative statements, and arrange final approvals.
  • Cordinate with concerned departments for purchase requests, adhering to proper specifications for good purchases.
  • Motivate vendors and suppliers to participate maximally in tenders to secure competitive prices and quality goods as per the procurement policy.
  • Support negotiation teams in purchasing goods and services according to the procurement policy.
  • Explore new vendors and sign frame supply agreements for recurring items/services. Periodic supplier evaluation in liaison with requesting departments for quality supplier retention and updating supplier databases.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain.
  • Accredited procurement and supply chain certifications preferred.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prioritize candidates with in-depth knowledge of cell sites for power projects, cooling systems, HVAC, UPS, PDF, rectifiers, data centers, and related systems.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of ERP platforms, preferably Oracle Sourcing Module.
  • Knowledge of telecom technologies, equipment, and services.
  • Strategic sourcing.
  • Contract management.
  • Presentation preparation and scenario building.
  • 360-degree relationship management.
