Business Development Executive: Software Sales Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients and projects on Upwork (related to software development, including mobile and web development), submitting well-crafted proposals, and securing projects in the IT industry. You will collaborate with the technical team to understand project requirements and tailor proposals to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork.">
  • Maintain and update our Upwork profile to reflect our latest work, skills, and testimonials, ensuring it remains competitive.">
  • Draft and submit customized proposals based on project requirements.">
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and clarify project details.">
  • Negotiate project terms and close deals.">
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential projects and clients.">
  • Provide feedback and insights to the technical team for proposal improvement.">
  • Track and report on bid success rates, client interactions, and other key metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.">

Qualifications:

  1. ">
  2. Proven experience as a Business Development Executive or in a similar role for at least 3 years, in a software house (specialized in Mobile and Web Development).">
  3. Strong understanding of the IT industry, including software development, web development, and other related services.">
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.">
  5. Ability to craft persuasive and compelling proposals.">
  6. Hands-on experience with Upwork's platform and bidding process.">
