Job Title: MENA Tax - Global Compliance & Reporting

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional to join our Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) service line in the Middle East and North Africa region. Our GCR team operates as a cohesive unit, providing efficient and effective resources to companies in the region.

We combine our exceptional knowledge and experience with the latest technology platforms to deliver tailored solutions for clients' tax-related needs. In Tax, we equip clients to make informed business decisions by bringing insights to the forefront. We help companies understand the tax policies and laws of governments around the world to ensure compliance.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to clients across various industries, working closely with our tax and accounting professionals to meet client engagement objectives. You will also establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships with clients to ensure seamless service delivery and timely completion of projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with tax and accounting professionals to execute client engagements
  • Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients to enhance service quality and delivery
  • Monitor progress and deliverables of client engagements, identifying potential risks and escalating issues as necessary
  • Support the team in marketing and business development initiatives to expand our GCR client base in the region
  • Provide assistance on fee gathering for corporate income tax, indirect tax, statutory accounts preparation, and bookkeeping

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or a related field
  • Preferably an MBA, Masters, or another advanced degree and/or professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge and minimum 3 years of experience in corporate tax compliance, financial tax reporting, and ERP systems, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment
  • Strong tax accounting knowledge (for CH2 TARAS work)
