About the Role

We are seeking an experienced academic professional to join our team as a Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising clinical and academic activities, as well as patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lectures and Teaching: Design and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical skills sessions according to the curriculum for MBBS/BDS students.
  • Postgraduate Training: Mentor FCPS and DCPS trainees with clinical presentations, small group discussions, and case-based teaching.
  • Research and Development: Collaborate with faculty members and Postgraduate trainees in research and development through continuous education and learning environments.
  • Patient Care: Oversee new patients referred for specialist advice, conduct regular OPD sessions, and provide emergency treatment.
  • Examinations and Assessments: Support the Head of Department in conducting examinations of MBBS/BDS students and assessments of Postgraduate trainees.
  • Clinical Rounds: Organize regular clinical rounds of the ward to manage/supervise the progress and care of indoor patients.
  • Medical Procedures: Perform medical procedures under the supervision of senior consultants and develop a proper monitoring mechanism.
  • Specialist Advice: Provide expert advice on medical problems of patients referred from other departments.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, train, and develop PGs, MOs, HOs, and other paramedical staff to ensure delivery of quality health services.
  • Duty Rota and Staff Placement: Create and monitor the duty rota of the department and resolve staff management and placement issues.
Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department and other colleagues to achieve the department's goals.
