Job Title:

Senior Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  2. Develop ACEL budgets and implement budgetary controls to optimize resource allocation.
  3. Assist in preparing and reviewing annual and periodic budgets to meet organizational goals.
  4. Provide regular reports on budget review and highlight unfavorable variances to inform decision-making.
  5. Develop and implement accounting policies to stay up-to-date with changing trends and needs.
  6. Assist with payroll completion and prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping purposes.
  7. Guide team members in completing day-to-day and periodic tasks related to their jobs.
  8. Maintain a close but authorized link with team members and resolve their issues related to work or workplace.
  9. Highlight gaps in operational pricing and incentive/commission structure and make recommendations to improve performance.
  10. Prepare and submit quarterly reports on profitability of different products of ACEL.
  11. Provide monthly and weekly reporting to the Manager about ongoing tasks or specified reporting requirements assigned by the Manager.
  12. Attend managerial meetings and contribute suggestions for policy making where required.
  13. Assess Team Training Needs and devise a plan for training arrangements for interdepartmental trainings.
  14. Follow-up with the Team in case of non-responsive working and highlight issues, sorting them out in position capacity and reporting to Manager otherwise, where required, highlight it to HR department.
  15. Report any internal or external hindrances, issues, or urgencies that can affect department working to Manager and where required also report to Finance Head.
  16. Report cases warranting disciplinary warnings.
  17. Deal with all escalated queries of country managers and agents.
  18. Facilitate payout of authorized routine expenses in absence of Accounts Manager.
  19. Develop a close working relationship and coordination with managers of different departments of ACEL to ensure that all activities, procedures, and processes of Accounts and Finance department complement those of other departments for better achievement of ACEL goals and objectives.
  20. Extend facilitation during internal and external audits by communicating requirements and coordination.
  21. Carry out other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to think critically.
