Cell Site Maintenance Technician

This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of cell sites by performing various tasks related to their maintenance.


Responsibilities:
  • Electrical issue resolution to guarantee cell site efficiency.
  • Monitoring and maintenance of critical KPIs such as NAR, TCH, and PM success rate for MBU.
  • Power equipment inspection and upkeep, including Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
  • Rectifier (Emerson, Huawei) and battery (Li-ion cells) testing and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnosing and resolving Diesel Generator problems.
  • Carrying out ATP on Diesel Generators following overhauls.
  • Correcting DCACs and commercial supply issues.
  • Ensuring secure and efficient tower operations.
  • Reporting potential hazards.
  • Accurate record-keeping of tower activities.
  • Telco spare management and inventory control.
  • Guaranteeing timely and high-quality preventive maintenance through vendors.
  • Resolving customer complaints within a day.
  • Interpreting tower installation plans.
  • Following health and safety guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • An associate degree or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in telecom power infrastructure setup and maintenance.
  • Tower component knowledge.
