Job Title
A Specialist Digital Products Specialist is needed to serve as a liaison between departments and the IS&T organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, developing, documenting, communicating business requirements, and supporting user testing to achieve business goals. The role involves identifying problems within a business, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, designing new digital solutions, formulating ways for businesses to improve, overseeing the implementation of new digital technology and systems, and leading new digital initiatives.

About This Role
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience in software development, digital solutions, and open-source technologies. They should have strong proficiency in JavaScript, knowledge of Node.js and frameworks and libraries, good understanding of server-side templating languages, basic understanding of front-end technologies, familiarity with RESTful APIs, and experience with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop new rest-full services for user-facing features using NodeJS.
  • To build reusable components and server side/front-end libraries for future use.
  • To translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.
  • To optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
  • To ensure all code has been unit tested prior to QA, including interfaces with other systems.

Educational Background
