Shopify E-commerce Architect

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Architect to lead the design and development of our e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify Plus, with experience architecting large-scale global implementations.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for defining solution architecture for global customer engagement, integrating supporting technologies such as Shopify Search and Shopify Plus, and developing features like multisite delivery, personalization, and content aggregation.
  • They will also oversee project review bootstrapping, recommend migration approaches, and diagnose technical issues related to Shopify implementation.
  • In addition, they will interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications and solution architecture for content collaboration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define solution roadmap and integration along with strategic architecture and infrastructure vision.
  2. Develop materials to explain complex technical problems and solutions for both business and technical terms.
  3. Showcase rapid development design thinking of desired features and execution of next-generation technologies.
  4. Prepare technical architecture infrastructure design, form content strategy, set up digital marketing suite, and monitor client communication team.
  5. Conduct sprint planning, project planning, production maintenance, and performance tuning.
  6. Create industry-specific digital architecture with roles involving analysis, design, development, administration, and integration of distributed architecture applications in web-based internet/intranet client-server environments.
  7. Develop digital consumer experiences based on Adobe marketing cloud products.
  8. Define solution architecture for global customer engagement and integrate full collage of supporting technologies.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory experience in Shopify Plus.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise-level monitoring and management across various OS environments.
  • Proven ability to design and develop web architecture supporting responsive Shopify Plus platform.
  • Experience architecting at least 3 large Shopify global implementations with scalable frameworks supporting rapid development.
  • Experience with MEAN Stack, MongoDB, Angular, Node.js, and Express frameworks.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills.
  • Shopify Architect Certification is a plus.
