As a Lead Architect, you will work within the Consumer & Community Banking division, developing high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs
  • Define the technical target state of their product and drive achievement of the strategy
  • Participate in architecture governance bodies
  • Evaluate recommendations and provide feedback on new technologies
  • Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming language(s)
  • Experience in AI and prompt engineering
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplines
