Engineering Leader

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer to lead our engineering efforts, overseeing the design and implementation of projects that meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Development: Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  2. Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  3. Feasibility Studies and Cost Estimates: Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for proposed projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  4. Project Management: Manage project resources effectively to ensure timely completion of projects within allocated resources.
  5. Progress Monitoring and Performance Analysis: Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays proactively.
  6. Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in engineering and project management, integrating them into project plans and processes as appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Retired Army Officer with extensive experience in engineering and project management roles, particularly as a CORP Engineer.
  • Licensure/Certification: Professional engineering licensure or certification preferred.
  • Leadership and Team Management Skills: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in planning, design, and implementation of engineering projects.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
