Procurement Management Role
">As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing and directing the central procurement activities under the guidance of senior leadership.
We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to develop and implement new administrative procedures to maintain efficiency and economy in our system. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate commodity areas and make recommendations for standardization and addition to our Qualified Products List.
The successful candidate will supervise and participate in the preparation of written financial reports, establish priorities, and assign workloads. They will also review contracts for accuracy and changes prior to renewal and provide liaison between vendors, contractors, and company officials.
Job RequirementsKey qualifications include command over MS Office, with the ability to analyze and select suppliers, issue purchase orders, and follow up as necessary. Additionally, the candidate should have experience reviewing purchase requisitions for proper authorization and identifying potential suppliers and issuing requests for quotations.
- Proven track record of improving operations and decreasing turnaround times
- Ability to streamline work processes and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office and procurement software
