Expert Backend Developer Needed

We are revolutionizing financial services in Pakistan with a digital-first experience that makes managing money simple, transparent, and hassle-free.

This role is crucial for our success, and as an Expert Backend Developer, you'll design, build, and maintain the services and systems that power our products. Your work will ensure that millions of users enjoy fast, secure, and reliable financial experiences every day.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create scalable backend systems: Design APIs, services, and data pipelines to support our mobile and web applications.
  • Ensure reliability and performance: Optimize system architecture to handle rapid growth and large-scale user activity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, develop, and deploy new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable code: Follow best practices in software development, testing, and documentation.
  • Manage deployment and monitoring: Oversee services from development to production, ensuring high availability and quick incident response.
  • Stay up-to-date: Continuously learn about new technologies, tools, and best practices to keep our systems modern and efficient.
What We're Looking For
  • 3–5 years of backend development experience, ideally in designing, building, and maintaining production systems.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and system design.
  • Proficiency in .NET Core.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • A passion for building reliable, secure, and high-performance systems.
  • A team-oriented mindset: open to feedback, willing to help others, and collaborative in problem-solving.
