Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for directing manufacturing operations, ensuring volume, quality, and cost goals are met.

This role reports to the Manager Maintenance.

You will direct mechanical operation and maintenance, including hands-on experience with mechanical equipment such as pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID / FD fans, and compressors.

Responsibilities:
  1. Mechanical Operation & Maintenance - Hands-on experience with operation & maintenance of mechanical equipment like pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID / FD fans, and compressors.
  2. Design of Mechanical Systems - Familiarity with maintenance techniques like alignment, balancing & condition monitoring, IMS/GMP requirements, etc.
  3. Maintenance Activities - Responsible for effective & timely maintenance of mechanical systems and auxiliaries, ensuring compliance with PM & condition-based schedules through SAP.
  4. Project Execution Activities - Share new quality ideas, prepare feasibility reports, BOQs, follow up on procurement, and ensure safe execution of capex / MOC projects.
  5. EHS Responsibilities - Implement EHS standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment for subordinates.
  6. Cost Reduction Initiatives - Identify opportunities for cost reduction, recommend new equipment/methods, and improve operational efficiency.
  7. People Development - Build relationships with stakeholders, develop a motivated work environment, and ensure staff awareness of best practices.
  8. Compliance of Company Policies - Ensure compliance with electrical-related legal requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  2. Work experience in Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Process / Food industries
  3. 4-7 years of hands-on experience in operation & maintenance of electrical installations
  4. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
