Market Research Manager

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Research Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing product and service industry-specific marketing & competitive background decks to inform the New Business team prior to initial pitches.

The ideal candidate will have experience conducting advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses of trends to enhance, upgrade, and deepen retention strategies, and to improve customer channel behavior through marketing drivers.

The role involves analyzing customer needs, perceptions, and behavior through a combination of proprietary and syndicated customer research studies.

Candidates with a proven track record of participating in brainstorming sessions that identify new marketing opportunities for clients will be preferred.

Staying current on industry trends and technological advancements is essential to maintain our competitive edge in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

This position requires managing New Business and existing business competitive research data, assets, and decks for competitive presentations.

Candidates should have excellent organizational skills to organize and maintain research information.

Developing, writing, and presenting strategic recommendations and projects that directly address client-specific research questions is a critical aspect of this role.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5+ years of experience conducting statistical research and quantitative analysis and marketing research for clients in support of the development of effective marketing programs.

Direct Response experience is an added advantage.

Proven ability to interpret data and express those implications of analysis is crucial for success in this role.

Candidates should possess excellent analytical thinking skills - ability to work well with numbers and analyze complex data.

Attention to detail is essential to see how the details fit into the overall, bigger picture.

Familiarity with industry measurement tools such as SPSS, Mintel, MRI, etc. is required.

Candidates should be expert at use and sourcing of research tools.

A solid understanding of the advertising/media industry is necessary for this role.

Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.

Excellent presentation skills are a must-have for this position.

Innovative and strategic approach to all tasks is expected from the successful candidate.
