Administrative Manager Job Description

The Administrative Manager is responsible for maintaining and supervising the administrative staff.

This includes recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

The Administrative Manager will also set policies and procedures for training, coaching, counseling, and career development for staff members.

This role involves initiating and coordinating goals, deadlines, and projects for their department, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve operations and function.

The Administrative Manager must monitor and procure needed supplies for the office, reception, mailroom, and kitchen areas, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained facility that meets environmental, health, and security standards.

This position also involves managing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
