Quality Assurance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the quality of our web and backend platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of existing features, as well as new features being released.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, experience in managing a team, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to analyze complex issues, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to ensure high-quality products.

The role involves working closely with engineering and product teams to achieve organizational quality goals. This includes developing and tracking QA metrics, defining and updating quality standards, and driving adoption of QA best practices across development teams.

Key responsibilities include ensuring testability of new and existing features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage through manual and automated test suites, and selecting and maintaining technology tools related to the QA process.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure quality of the platform, including functional and non-functional aspects.
  • Develop and track QA metrics measuring the overall quality of the platform at any given time.
  • Define and update quality standards in collaboration with the engineering teams.
  • Drive adoption of QA best practices across development teams.
  • Define the Automation and Manual QA strategy and roadmaps.


Requirements:
  • 10+ years experience in the software testing field for web apps, mobile apps and web services.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) systems.
  • Experience using Playwright with Typescript.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to deliver projects in a fast-paced tight deadline environment.
  • Able to prioritize tasks based on impact, implementability and resources availability.
  • Able to motivate others.
  • High degree of problem-solving skill and sound judgment.
