Development Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Development Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of project activities in a specified area. This includes coordinating with project partners, supporting the project manager in developing content, and ensuring strong documentation and timely reporting of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobilize, engage, and liaise with project partners to support project activities.
  • Help plan, monitor, and manage program activities for the assigned project.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, trainings, and other activities relevant to the project.
  • Prepare and submit relevant activity reports for the project team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in social sciences or any relevant field of education.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' work experience in development sector, especially in implementation of projects on themes including rule of law, democratic just governance, gender based violence, youth development, citizens engagement, peace and resilience.
  • At least half of which should have been related to coordination, project management, community outreach, government liaison, and organizing of events.
  • Active social media user, specifically Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and v-logging on different social & political issues.
  • Understanding and skills around program management & reporting.
  • Experience in partnership and network management.
  • Ability to travel on short-notice.
  • Pro-active in communication & information sharing.
