Job Title: Regional Development Coordinator

About the Role
Mobilize, engage, and liaise with project partners, including parliamentarians, government officials, media, and community members, to support project activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the project manager in developing content for mobilization activities, capacity building, policy dialogue, conventions, and related events.
  • Help plan, monitor, and manage program activities for the assigned project.
  • Ensure strong documentation and timely reporting of the program. Assist in preparing reports, lessons learned, change stories, and other documentation.
  • Properly document learnings, take quality pictures/videos, and gather testimonials.
  • Collect, manage, and maintain program data in both digital and physical formats promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders through networking and promoting project activities.
  • Coordinate with key external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for project activities.
  • Support the project team in achieving project results.
  • Lead and coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, trainings, and other activities relevant to the project.


Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum bachelor's degree in social sciences or any relevant field of education.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' work experience in the development sector, especially in the implementation of projects on themes including rule of law, democratic governance, gender-based violence, youth development, citizen engagement, peace, and resilience.
  • At least half of which should have been related to coordination, project management, community outreach, government liaison, and organizing events.
  • Active user of various social media platforms, with expertise in Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and v-logging on different social and political issues.
  • Understanding and skills around program management and reporting.
  • Experience in partnership and network management.
  • Ability to travel on short notice.


Languages

Excellent command of English and Urdu – verbal and written.
