About This Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary interface between business operations and compliance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Identify and report compliance issues related to assigned functions to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a repository of material compliance issues and follow up for timely resolution.
  • Review and sign off on policies, procedures, and programs developed by assigned business units to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide ongoing advice on regulatory compliance matters.
  • Develop, review, and obtain sign off on Compliance Grids related to designated functions.
  • Ensure that Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Grids provide comprehensive coverage of regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of assigned branches and functions and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate inspections of assigned functions, providing assistance and guidance to concerned units.
  • Ensure closure of outstanding items from Corrective Action Plans related to inspections, compliance reviews, and regulatory issues reported by auditors.
  • Disseminate regulatory instructions and advisories to relevant units and ensure their implementation in a timely manner.
