Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, design and implementation of stable, scalable and efficient Business Support Systems (BSS) operations.
  • Ensure 24×7 availability through incident, problem and escalation management.
  • Develop and execute Change & Release Management strategies with minimal customer impact.
  • Define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and Disaster Recovery drills.
  • Monitor, analyze and publish operational performance.
Planning, Architecture & Optimization:
  • Develop a BSS roadmap and architectural evolution aligned to business priorities and standards.
  • Benchmark vendor/product roadmaps; prioritize features and integrations by business value, scalability, security and compliance.
  • Evaluate and incorporate new developments in BSS technologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive cost, performance and reliability optimization (capacity planning, tuning, automation).
Leadership & Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing BSS team.
  • Build a talent pipeline through succession planning, coaching and capability development.
  • Drive automation, simplification and efficiency across processes and toolchains.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or related field.
Work Experience:
  • Preferably 10+ years in Telecom IT/BSS with at least 4-5 years in supervisory, leadership and managerial roles.
  • Strong domain expertise across the complete BSS stack.
  • Proven track record in operations, change/release management, incident/problem management and vendor/MSP governance.
