Job Title: Video Surveillance SpecialistThe CCTV Operator is responsible for the monitoring and operation of all CCTV equipment, including cameras, recording systems, and alarms.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all cameras are functioning optimally and covering designated areas effectively.
  • Identifying unusual or suspicious activities and escalating them to the relevant personnel.
  • Notifying emergency services or on-site security teams as necessary.
  • Logging all incidents and maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • Conducting routine checks to ensure the CCTV system is functioning optimally.
  • Reporting any technical issues to the maintenance team or supervisor.
  • Communicating with security staff and management regarding potential threats or emergencies.
  • Providing real-time updates during incidents to ensure prompt action.
  • Following all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements regarding data privacy.
  • Ensuring surveillance footage and logs are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a security or surveillance role preferred.
  • Familiarity with CCTV equipment, monitoring software, and recording systems.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for technical issues.
