Job Overview

The DevOps Engineer is a key role in our organization's software development lifecycle, responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines using automation tools like Jenkins, Selenium, and Git/GitHub.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate operational processes, ensuring efficient deployment and operation of cloud and virtualization systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the engineering tools, systems, procedures, and data security.
  • Implement robust monitoring systems to ensure high availability and scalability.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
  • Expertise in code deployment tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef).
  • Strong understanding of network, server, and application-status monitoring.
  • Familiarity with software-automation production systems (Jenkins, Selenium).
  • Experience with Ruby or Python programming languages.
  • Working knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub).
  • A solid grasp of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
