Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Head of Resources Management and in close coordination with the RMO Compliance, the Senior Regional Resources Management Officer will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and coordinating various functions within the Country Office.

The incumbent will oversee financial management activities, ensuring accurate forecasting of cash flows, timely disbursement of funds, and strict adherence to donor agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and controlling financial expenditure, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Forecasting cash flows and validating funding receipt and disbursement.
  • Preparation of financial reviews, analyzing budget variances, and taking proactive measures to prevent projects from going into deficit.
  • Assistance in annual budget preparation, facilitating monitoring of budget control, and analyzing variances between budget and actual expenditures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with two years of relevant professional experience, or a University degree with four years of relevant experience.

Professional certification as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is an advantage.

Experience in all areas of financial administration, human resources, procurement, and logistics is required.

Fluency in English and Urdu, both oral and written, is essential.
