Job Overview

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing environmental sustainability initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable practices across project operations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental approvals, permits, and legislation.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and assessments.
  • Analyze and report environmental data.
  • Implement site-specific management plans.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to integrate environmental protection measures.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits.
  • Maintain accurate environmental records and reports.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions on environmental protection.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and regulators.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in environmental management.

Skills and Qualities

  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Experience in environmental monitoring and reporting.
  • Familiarity with ESMPs, environmental audits, and compliance inspections.
  • Knowledge of GIS/mapping systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently in challenging field environments.
