Senior Program Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Program Manager to lead our teams in managing large-scale engagements and mitigating risks.

  • Manage the strategic aspects of large projects, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Oversee senior managers and project managers working on client engagements within projects and organization.
  • Ensure that organizational values are practiced and incorporated at all levels.
  • Review high-level deliverables related to construction and renovation projects across the organization.
  • Ensure engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures take place for all organizational engagements.
  • Provide leadership to projects in all campuses and hospitals.
  • Develop and implement sound practices.
  • Develop and implement strategic objectives for the department aligned with the organization's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Accounting: Report project costs, anticipated estimates, and accounting/budgeting aspects. Consolidate and analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization across the organization.
  • Help create project forecasts and broad-based financial picture for the organization. Address and resolve billing issues. Ensure the organization meets budgeted financial objectives.
  • Internal Operations: Review status reports of Project Managers and Senior Managers. Lend expertise to internal teams and task forces. Enforce standard policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Excellent program management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including high standards of written communication, grammar, and spelling.
  • Information management skills, including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take responsibility for tasks, prioritizing and scheduling own work to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Must have a degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture with a Master's in Project Management, Engineering Management, or allied fields.
  • Candidates with PMP / Prince 2 certifications would be preferred.
