Chief Security Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Security Manager to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in security, military or police and possess excellent software skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising country management on security matters, providing direction and support on security-related changes, and recommending countermeasures to ensure policies and business needs are met.
They will also source appropriate security vendors and consultants, monitor and audit security services, and maintain a close working relationship with regional authorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and practices to safeguard employees, customers' shipments, assets, and information against loss, damage, or incident.
- Coordinating country security activities, ensuring compliance with security procedures, and conducting security audits to assess the effectiveness of security practices.
- Developing extensive contacts with security personnel, local law enforcement, and regulatory agencies to stay informed about national and international security threats.
Additionally, the Security Manager will provide input into the reporting of security incidents, prepare and analyze database information, and recommend actions to investigate and resolve significant security incidents.
